Free Bikes 4 Kidz Detroit is the eighth of twelve FB4K affiliates across the U.S. Since they began their mission here in Detroit in 2018, FB4K Detroit has given away over 7,000 bikes to kids in need in our community! In the last twelve years, FB4K affiliates across the country have given away close to 100,000 bikes and they’re not done yet—their future sights are set on other locations throughout the U.S. and the world!

Free Bikes 4 Kidz is a nonprofit organization geared toward helping all kids ride into a happier, healthier childhood by providing bikes to those most in need. In 2021 you helped them collect almost 2,800 bikes and they’ve given them away to under-resourced kids in our community. Thank you, Detroit for helping us change the lives of so many kids!

We’re a passionate group of people who love giving back. It’s our goal to help every child feel the joy and freedom of riding their first bike and over the last 4 years, we’ve helped over 7,000 kids in the Detroit area get a bike and a new helmet.
